United Process Controls European Sales Representatives

United Process Controls (UPC), a leading provider of heat treating and combustion optimization solutions, has expanded the sales distribution network of its European arm, Process-Electronic, adding three manufacturer representatives in Central and Eastern Europe. UPC is pleased to announce that the company has partnered with Boki-TZ (Czech Republic), Introl Sp. z.o.o. (Poland), and UAB Uhihanza (Lithuania) to represent its combustion products.

UPC combustion optimization solutions contribute to lower fuel consumption, maintenance costs and emissions in high temperature environments such as furnaces, boilers, incinerators, power plants, fired heaters, kilns, and many others. “We are committed to providing our supplier-partners with competitively priced and advanced combustion solutions that serve customers better. All three companies are a great fit with our growth strategy, which relies on growing our customer base in new territories and diversifying to reach customers in other markets beyond thermochemical applications.” said Zbigniew Sito, European Technical Sales and Support Manager, Combustion Optimization for Chemical and Metals Processing of Process-Electronic Sp. z o.o.

Boki-TZ is already the go-to distributor of UPC heat treating sensors and controllers in Czechia for the past decade. The new agreement will expand their reach to include Slovakia, as well as the sale and support of high-temperature in-situ OxyFireTM systems and the WaukeeTM brand of flow control solutions. Introl Sp. z.o.o. has an extensive background in automation and measurement applications in many industries across Poland. Selective with the products they represent, the addition of UPC combustion products to their portfolio of automation and control solutions will further solidify the company’s position as a key provider of end-to-end solutions in Poland. UAB Uhihanza, who in a few short years has earned an excellent reputation in the industry for providing specialty chemical solutions, is now the primary provider of UPC combustion solutions to the Baltic states, Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.

UPC commenced its new partnerships in January 2017 with a 3-day product-application training on the OxyfireTM oxygen probes for combustion trim control and the WaukeeTM brand Valve-Tronic PlusTM flow controllers for ammonia and nitrogen applications, as well as gas mixing systems. Hands-on training also included customer site visits for observation of reheating steel billets in walking beam furnaces equipped with OxyfireTM with full burner control and reference air panels.

Sito stated, “We recognize the significant value of these partners, and they are a welcome addition to our network of sales representatives. This announcement is part of a recent move to expand our global brand presence for all the products that UPC sells.”
